Morning-after pill to be available without prescription
Buyers must prove they're 18 or older

I still think, just like other things like cigarettes and alcohol, teens will still be able to get these, especially without the need for a prescription for 18+ people.

exactly... what's to stop me from going to the drugstore and picking it up for my little brother's 16/17 y/o gf?

I think it would fall under the same guidelines as buying cigs or alcohol for minors.

They sure will, especially when ass holes like me buy them any thing they ask me to.

Yeah, I probably would buy for people I cared about, especially seeing that they do not want to get pregnant, but I would probably give them a lecture about safe sex.

I think my diatribe for those situations are always: don't be stupid.

i'm really hoping that this pill thing doesn't become an epidemic & girls overdo it as opposed to using condoms, etc. can you imagine how badly the femail reproductive system will get messed up with over-use of this thing? eventually it's going to get embedded into the woman's DNA & then potentially passed on to future generations causeing some sort of reproductive system mutation...

okay, so maybe that's a little over the top... but not impossible.

Yeah, I doubt if it will get into the DNA. However, I think what will help keep it in check is the risk of STDs, only the people doing unprotected sex will need this solution, with the exception of the occasional condom break.

That's great, but wait until the Republicans step in to pass a law resctricting Plan B.

That name still cracks me up. Let's use 'Plan B'. I can see it though, it's essentially a pre-abortion.
