Flavored soft drinks
All these companies coming out with, lemon, lime, cherry, and who knows what other flavored soft drinks should just stick to the original flavors. Regular and Diet.
Then sell additives that people can add to their drinks to flavor them. This would save so much on shelf space in the stores and allow people to flavor their drinks according to how strong they want them to taste.

Not sleeping?

Is this one of those things that your mind wanders to when you are trying to fall asleep?
Still, I do agree with the idea.
My mind wanders around things like this when I am TRYING to blank it out.

Re: Not sleeping?

My mind is almost constantly wandering. Especially when I have down time.

but cherry flavored soda doesnt seem so awful,
and then what about already lemon/lime soda
*like sprite, sierra mist, or mountain dew?*

Actually, I find that most of the flavored soda isn't bad. I just find it annoying that you need to have several cases, cases being the most economical way of buying them, of different sodas because you have feel like different flavors from time to time.

I would say that drinks like Sprite, Sierra Mist, and Mountain Dew are exceptions because those are their signature products. I am more against ones where they take the signature product and just add flavoring.

AGREED as in... Coke w/Lime EWW I once picked up a coke, and was disgustingly surprised that the green cap meant there was a hint of LIME, which just reminds me of alcohol in the soda.

you are my hero.

Coke actually came out with Flavor Pouches that you could add to your drinks. I don't think it ever went to major market though. I was on the street team for it through Streetwise Concepts & Culture.

They had Cherry, Vanilla, Chocolate, and I think there was a blueberry one too...

I tried finding it on the net but I didn't find any pics of it but there are a few articles.

Coca Cola Flavor Hits.

I guess it wasn't a big hit so they didn't market it.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware that they tried that. Perhaps they tried it too early and now, that people are comsuming these new flavored products, it might be a worthwhile thing to try again.

7-11 already does this, with those Flavor Shots or whatever they call them. But no one ever uses those, because it's messy. People want convenience.

Hmm, not to mention it's hard to get into a can, now fountain drinks, a little easier.
