Sleep
Well, I got my CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) machine last night, it's supposed to help me breathe during my sleep. I know it helped because I was not snoring last night. Other than that, I'm supposed to be able to get restful sleep, I didn't notice the difference. It takes some getting used to, having constant air being blown in your nose, not to mention exhaling against that air pressure. Hopefully, it'll make a difference.

Prevailing Condition: awake

I noticed a huge difference. Now I just need to get used to the loud breathing sounds - but it's way better than snoring like a freight train.

Man, I wish this guy on the train had that apparatus this morning. A bunch of us were worried he would inhale the little old lady in front of him!!

Seriously though...good luck on getting some restful sleep. I know what it's like to have extending periods without a good, sound night's rest.

Thank you. Yeah, I know those guys, I hear them on the train coming back to the city in the afternoon. Maybe we can give them pacifiers. :)

could you breath with mouth open? that way you aren't exhaling through nose, but through mouth. not sure how bad that could jack you up, though.

and i read that, "i got my CRAP machince last night" at first.

but good to know there is help on the horizon.

Re: No no no

Not to worry, it's harder to breathe with my mouth open and with that thing on.

No way, when you open yur mouth all the air goes straight from your nose out of your mouth, it's actually a little tough inhaling through your mouth with that thing on.
